Arvind Modi is Partner – Investments at Sathguru Catalysers. He has over 12 years of experience in Venture Capital & Private Equity Investments. His area of expertise include VC/PE investment management, capital structuring, valuations, consulting and has excellent business acumen with proven abilities in investment decisions.

Prior to Sathguru, he was Vice President at GVFL Limited, a pioneer of venture capital in India. He has undergone a complete VC lifecycle from investments to monitoring and exits. He has invested from four funds out of which two have been liquidated. He made over 15 investments is early and growth stage with ticket size ranging USD 0.5 to 8mn and exited from 8 with good returns ranging from 2x to 10x through IPO, strategic and secondary sale. He invested across sectors including logistics, education, healthcare, personal care, FMCG, manufacturing, medtech, m-commerce and other technologies across India and USA. Prior to GVFL, he worked with HSBC and Oracle Financials.Arvind is a regular speaker at start-up events and is also mentor to various early stage companies. He has also helped setting-up North-East Venture Fund and Madhya Pradesh Venture Fund and advised them on making investments.

Arvind is MBA (Finance) from IBS, Hyderabad and is also CFA from ICFAI, India. He has undergone Venture Capital training at ISB, Hyderabad.
