Dr. Anand Singh is Vice President in Life Sciences Advisory Group at Sathguru Management Consultants. Anand is an experienced agribusiness professional with more than two decades of engagements in different capacities in public and private sector. At Sathguru, he is engaged in providing strategic advisory to International Development projects with focus on agriculture, agricultural education and ICT with focus on South Asia and Africa. He has led projects in crop protection sector for Indian, US and Asian Clients that involved developing strategies for clients with focus on business growth, market entry, strategic business plan, and expansion strategies. Prior to joining Sathguru in 2014, Anand worked with Monsanto, a global leader in technology innovation Sathguru. His diverse expertise includes market assessment, product development, and project management. Dr. Anand has played a leading role in the development of several technologies like solid substrate fermentation technology, development of a strain of Trichoderma harzianum using protoplast fusion that can work as biological control agent at higher temperatures in soil and helped develop market specific vegetable products to replace the market leading products in North India. He has also worked in collaboration with sales and marketing team of various clients for portfolio expansion, development of marketing strategy of existing and new products in addition to helping establish strategic collaborations for product licensing and technology transfer.

Dr. Anand holds a Ph. D. in Botany (Plant Pathology) with specialization in biological control. He has managed projects across various sectors like agri-input (seeds, crop protection chemicals and biologicals), e-extension, product development & delivery of information and communication technology tools to diverse clients in South Asian and African countries.
