Arvind Modi is a General Partner at Sathguru Catalysers with two decades of experience in Venture Capital and Private Equity investments. He has managed the full VC lifecycle—including fundraising, investments, and exits—and has led investments from five funds and liquidation of three. His investment portfolio spans multiple sectors, including agritech, renewables, education, healthcare, medtech, consumer, logistics, manufacturing, mobile, internet, and other technologies.

Before joining Catalysers, Arvind served as Vice President (Investments) at GVFL Limited, one of India’s oldest venture capital firms. A frequent speaker at startup events, he actively mentors startups and incubation centres. He also played a key role in establishing the North-East Venture Fund and has been a member of various committees, including the Government of India’s BIRAC BIG Grant, Startup India Seed Fund, and Nidhi Prayas.

Arvind holds an MBA in Finance from IBS Hyderabad and is also a CFA. Additionally, he has undergone Venture Capital training at ISB Hyderabad and is NISM certified AIF manager.
